Bio
I have always had a love for the performing arts. Well-meaning parents steered me away from a career in acting, but the bug has never seized to bug me. When I turned 50, it was time to get creative again. Over the past few years I have participated in numerous acting courses including a 20-week full-time screen acting course with The Australian Film and Television Academy (TAFTA) and an Advanced Actors Residency at The National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA). I have been involved in a variety of stage and screen productions.
On occasion I shift my focus from ‘out front’ to backstage. I get great satisfaction from utilising my organisational skills to make performances possible and enjoy contributing to the overall success of a production.
In 2018 I wrote my very first film script and was also one of the actors. Flawed has been more successful than we could have hoped for. It was shortlisted in Tropfest 2019, a finalist in the Blue Heeler Film Festival 2019 and came second in the Perfect Light Film Festival 2019.
